Love Love LOVE Portland! I lived there for about 10 years. I’ve very glad my city treated you well. My heart still lives there even though I had to move away.

Anyway, yes, Powell’s is amazing. I used to carry cash only when I’d go there b/c I knew if I took a debit or credit card with me I’d end up buying way to many books! Lol. Did you park in their parking garage? The one with the nearly vertical, one-lane, blind-corner driveway? That parking garage scares the crap out of me – I’m always afraid I’ll get hit while trying to drive up or down it. When I lived there, usually I would just MAX/walk there, but I did actually drive to it a few times – very scary but you have to do it at least once! ;P

Also, regarding introvert/extrovert, that measurement really has to do with how you replenish your energy. Does being around people energize you or make you feel tired? Does being alone with your thoughts energize you or make you tired? If being around people energizes you more, you’re an extrovert. If being alone with your thoughts energizes you more, you’re an introvert. It actually has nothing to do with how shy or &/or talkative you are.

It’s funny, for awhile I got really tired of House and stopped watching. Then when they shook up the cast and had that faux-reality-show thing for half a season where House was picking new interns, I totally got interested in it again! I love Olivia Wilde and the other ones grew on me as well. It definitely helped revive my interest in the show. Once I started watching again, I realized that I’d forgotten how freaking funny Hugh Laurie is! It will definitely be sad to see that show end.
